Whatever happened to the Minnesota that I grew up in as a boy? Whatever happened to the state that once claimed to be Minnesota Nice? From this evangelical Christian's perspective, the word that best describes it is confusion. And according to I Corinthians 14:33 (KJV), “God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.”
Six months ago, we watched as Governor Tim Walz walked across the national stage like he was the main character in some low budget Hollywood movie. Pointing his fingers to the sky as if he knew God; pounding his chest like he was someone's hero; and claiming a military rank that he did not earn, he is now back trying to make people believe that he is the hope of his party. Sadly, you do not have to look very hard to see that our governor is, according to Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, a misfit. Let us take a look at his party.
They are the party of profanity, the party of fear mongers, and the party of death through abortion. They have become a sanctuary state, a killing field for the unborn, and they want you to believe that they have the best interests of your children and the nuclear family at heart. You are looking at the difference between good and evil. Read on....
They are the party of mutilation through transgender altering surgery. According to an article written in Imprimis entitled, Inside the Transgender Empire, by Hillsdale College's Distinguished Fellow, Christian F. Rufo, “Their radical ideology is now at the forefront of the movement to destroy the family and remake society. What else could explain the insane enthusiasm of its proponents for pushing young children down the trans-identity rabbit hole?” Next time you get a letter from the Mayo Clinic asking for donations, perhaps you could ask them why; why have they turned their backs on our children and become members of the “woke” culture?
They are the party of godlessness who sit next to you in church and, yet, they are mockers of the Word of God, These are the Joe Bidens of the world who claim they are devote believers and, yet, they are lost souls. Today they are found in many walks of life; tomorrow they will be in Hell. It is what happens to those who thumb their nose at the teachings of the Bible. In the end, they will be left behind.
Finally, they are the party that screams foul when they are caught in lies; the party of Klobuchar, Smith, Craig, McCollum, Omar, Phillips, and thousands of others who have no business being in positions of authority. As a matter of fact, they are dangerous when it comes to human life. I pray you will not return them to office when their terms are complete.
Ladies and gentlemen, I cannot make you see something that your heart cannot understand. However, I can pray that you come to your senses before it is too late. In the meantime, I would challenge you to find a congregation that believes in the infallible word of God and talk with them. Just remember, the thief came to Jesus Christ at the Cross. If you miss your chance before you die, there will be no second chance for you. While this may not be the Democrat Party's way of thinking, it is Biblical. When all is said and done, who do you trust with your salvation?
