Every year in October, the Nerstrand United Methodist Church holds their annual Fall Bazaar. This year they wanted to support our local volunteer fire department so they asked the department for their donation ‘boot’. They also asked the department for a wish list of items they need. The department had gotten new radios and needed microphones for them. Their wish was for six microphones at $150 each. They work throughout the day to get donations and fill the boot. They were proud to present the Nerstrand Volunteer Fire Department a donation of over $900, covering the purchase of all six microphones!
