In April, our firefighters trained on rural water supply operations, focusing on relay pumping and drop tanks—key for fighting fires in areas without hydrants, especially during large or extended incidents.
We also worked with a new iPad in our Rescue Truck that provides CAD access for real-time updates and mapping, improving our response.
To wrap up the night, we placed new entry tools into service to better equip our crews on emergency scenes.
Thanks to the many grants and donors who have helped fund this and other new equipment: Nerstrand Women’s Club, Dennison Lions, Southeast MN EMS, and other local churches and individuals.
