City Council Meeting Minutes October 11, 2022
Nerstrand City Council met for their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at 7:00p.m. Those in attendance in person were Council Members Monica Gernandt, Dan Pfleger, Jennifer Schwab, and Mayor Todd Evavold. Jennifer Schwab, absent. Other people in attendance were Public Works Director, Steve McDowell, City Clerk, Dana Jans, one business owner and one resident.
Roll Call
Councilpersons, Gernandt, Pfleger, Harris, and Mayor Evavold present.
Approval of Agenda
-Motion to accept the agenda by Councilor Gernandt, second by Councilor Pfleger, motion passed unanimously.
Consent Agenda
-Motion to accept all consent items by Councilor Gernandt, second by Councilor Pfleger, motion passed unanimously.
New Business
-Motion by Councilor Gernandt to sell the brush truck for the highest bid, $8,510.00 to Matt Hanson, second by Councilor Pfleger, motion passed unanimously.
Old Business
-Resolution 2022-06, Public Sale of Tax Forfeited Parcel, motion by Councilor Gernandt, second by Councilor Pfleger, motion passed unanimously.
-Motion by Councilor Gernandt to rent the Schiels building for another 6 months, seconded by Councilor Pfleger, motion passed unanimously.
Public Works
-Things are running well. Hydrant flushing will take place on October 15. Meeting to discuss grade in front of City hall on October 13. Still working with Verizon and the surveyor from Widseth.

Motion by Councilor Gernandt second by Councilor Pfleger to adjourn the meeting, motion passed unanimously.
