Delores J. Wilson went to be with her Lord and Savior at age 90, on April 2, 2022.
Delores, “Dolly,” the daughter of Lawrence Chester and Thelma Knutson Chester, was born in Cannon City on August 3, 1931. She married Gene A. Wilson on August 10, 1948, in Faribault. They farmed in Walcott Township, and she was a homemaker, worked several years at F. W. Woolworth in Faribault, and for her daughter at Jan’s Secretariat in Northfield.
In addition to her four daughters, Kathy (Mervin) Hendrickson of Owatonna, Janice (Steve) Billeb of Cody, WY, Gaylene (Steve) Simmons of Montross, VA, and Doris (Scott) Ripczinski of Bonita Spring, FL, Dolly is survived by 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and many other beloved relatives.
Dolly was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gene; two grandchildren, Jolene Simmons and Suzanne Simmons, and several siblings.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
